AN ACT
Designating a bridge, identified as Bridge Key 19239, carrying
State Route 1019, also known as Valley Road, over Two Lick
Creek in Green Township, Indiana County, as the Tec 5 John
George Memorial Bridge.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Tec 5 John George Memorial Bridge.
(a) Findings.--The General Assembly finds and declares as
follows:
(1) John George was born December 2, 1912, in Everett
Borough, Bedford County.
(2) Mr. George enlisted in the United States Army on
March 3, 1942, and served until October 2, 1945, when he was
honorably discharged, as a Technician 5th Grade in the 45th
Signal Company, 45th Division.
(3) For his service, Mr. George was awarded a Good
Conduct Medal and the European African Middle Eastern Service
Medal with six Bronze Stars and one Bronze Arrowhead.
(b) Designation.--The bridge, identified as Bridge Key
